Objectives are aspirational, non-numeric goals we’d like to achieve within the set period (typically 6 months). They’re usually formulated as: “Within the set period, we’d like to: ...”

Objectives

Key Results are measurable, time-bound ways to objectively assess whether we’ve reached our objective or not. If we’ve completed all key results related to an objective, we see this is as having achieved our objective. Key Results are formulated as: “One way we’ll know we’ve achieved our objective is by having achieved: ...”

Key Results

Tasks are the daily to-dos and initiatives set in place for us to push closer to the key result. Think of these as little things getting us closer to the desired goal. Should still be very concrete and solvable within the current week.
